Twitter 140 Character Limitation Solution

By Dennis Grubbs of JJP Marketing

Twitter's 140 Character Limitation

If you aren't already a member, you should go ahead and sign up for Twitter at http://www.twitter.com. It is a wonderful micro-blogging platform. However, since in micro-blogging there is a character limitation, 140 characters in Twitter.com's case, you often run out of room to respond to a lot of posts.

Character Limitation Solution

I found the perfect solution to that character limitation problem. There is a website http://a.longreply.com that will let you type in whatever you want and submit it to their site. The site in turn creates a link to that "long reply". You can then post the link in your response on Twitter.com or whatever site you use for micro-blogging, and the people reading the response can click the link for the full response.

What this does is helps you avoid having to send serial posts to the same user to reply to a post, which can be very annoying since your posts can overwhelm the users Twitter feed. With a.longreply.com you can say everything you need to say and not annoy other users on Twitter.com.

TinyURL, Cli.gs, and TwitPwr Still Work

If you use any of those sites that redirect or provide analytics to click throughs, then you can still use those as well. Just use the URL created by a.longreply.com and it will forward and report analytics just fine.

I hope you find the site as useful as I have. To use the long reply website, just visit http://a.longreply.com. That is not an affiliate link either. That is just how they describe their site, "a long reply". For more information on the sites mentioned above visit the corresponding website. The URL to the sites have been provided for your convenience in the external links section.
